George William “Bill” Billings married Katherine Virginia Lang on September 14, 1955. They had 42 wonderful years together before she died on December 27, 1997.
Their marriage was solid, and they were devoted to each other. Their lives started out together in the basement of Bill’s parents’ home, but they moved to their own home in Detroit in 1960. They lived in the house on Braile until 1996. Kay died one year later.
